What is a salve?
It is usually a combination of herbal infused oils combined with beeswax to thicken it and make it easier to apply; Some people also add essential oils. This Calendula salve is a compound salve, which means that it contains multiple herbs. Because of its many possible applications, It could also be considered an all-purpose salve.
The Calendula Salve that I make is:

-APPLY TO MINOR CUTS, SCRAPES, BRUISING, BUG BITES, STINGS, OR SLIVERS.
-VERY SMALL AMOUNTS ARE NEEDED TO OBTAIN AMAZING RESULTS. LESS IS MORE WHEN IT COMES TO APPLICATION.
-BECAUSE WE LEAVE OUT TOXIC CHEMICALS, ADDITIVES AND PRESERVATIVES, OUR PRODUCTS DO HAVE A SHELF LIFE OF 6-12 MONTHS… THIS IS A GOOD THING BECAUSE IT MEANS YOUR PRODUCT IS FREE FROM TOXIC INGREDIENTS.
For storage, it keeps well under refrigeration, though it is also shelf stable.
